Brady, Pats fail to make back-to-back SBs
Tom Brady - QB - New England Patriots
Jan. 20, 2013 - 11:25 PM ET

Tom Brady completed 29-of-54 passes for 320 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in New England's AFC Championship Game loss to the Ravens.

Brady was hurt by drops, the absence of Rob Gronkowski and loss of CB Aqib Talib, but simply didn't play well enough to send New England to its sixth Super Bowl appearance of the Bill Belichick era. Harried by constant pressure, Brady had trouble hitting receivers in stride, and saw a number of balls batted at the line of scrimmage. The Patriots failed to score a single point after entering the break up 13-7. The home loss was the first of Brady's career when he led at halftime. It doesn't take away from yet another monster regular season ' 4,827 yards, 34 touchdowns and only eight turnovers ' but leaves Brady just 3-3 in the playoffs since his 2008 ACL tear. Brady will remain a top-five fantasy QB during his age-36 season in 2013.
