Talib leaves title game with thigh injury
Aqib Talib - DB - New England Patriots
Jan. 20, 2013 - 7:25 PM ET

Patriots CB Aqib Talib was forced from the AFC Championship Game with a right thigh injury, and is questionable to return.

The injury appeared to be to Talib's hamstring, but the Pats are claiming it's a thigh issue. Talib pulled up immediately after breaking up a third-down attempt to Anquan Boldin in the first quarter. He tried to get loose on the sideline before heading to the locker room for further examination. Judging by the way he staggered off the field, it's doubtful he returns. Kyle Arrington has come on opposite Alfonzo Dennard in Talib's absence. Talib was mostly sparring with Boldin ' and not speedster Torrey Smith ' before departing.
