New Bears coach Marc Trestman plans to put Jay Cutler's athleticism to use in his offense.
"We were in the pistol and the gun and we did run the read-zone," Trestman said of his CFL offenses. "... Some of those nuances that the teams are doing down here, we've done up there. Jay has the ability to get outside the pocket and make plays and throw the football and we'll certainly incorporate that." Trestman added that his 2002 Raiders offense was "a no-huddle team" with Rich Gannon at the controls. The Trestman hire is easy to like for Cutler's fantasy outlook.
