After listening to coach Chip Kelly's introductory press conference Thursday, the Philadelphia Inquirer believes the Eagles' starting quarterback for 2013 "isn't likely on the current roster."
Nick Foles will have to learn an entirely new offense under Kelly, who said he wasn't going to try to squeeze a pocket quarterback into a read-option offense. The Inquirer believes Foles will remain on the roster as a backup to a quarterback not yet on the roster. The Eagles won't pay Vick's scheduled $15.5 million salary, so he would have to be amenable to a major pay cut to stay.
