Miguel Gonzalez won't pitch in WBC

Miguel Gonzalez has decided not to represent Mexico during the World Baseball Classic.
Gonzalez had tentatively agreed to pitch for his native country, but he ultimately decided it was best to focus on preparing for the 2013 season. "It was a tough decision because obviously I wanted to represent Mexico, but you always have to think about what's going to happen in the long run," Gonzalez said. "I think it's more important for me to be with the team." Gonzalez is expected to be part of the Orioles' 2013 rotation.
