NFL Network's Michael Lombardi is reportedly interviewing for the Browns general manager position on Friday.
"If all goes well," he could get the job, writes the Cleveland Plain Dealer's Mary Kay Cabot. Lombardi, Chiefs director of pro personnel Ray Farmer, and Browns president Joe Banner all worked together with the Eagles in the late 1990s. There have been whispers that Lombardi has been advising Banner on head coaching candidates since the process began a few weeks ago. The Browns could opt to bring both Lombardi and Farmer aboard.
