Rangers avoid arbitration with Neftali Feliz

Rangers and RHP Neftali Feliz avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year, $2.9 million contract.
Feliz was eligible for salary arbitration for the first time. The 24-year-old right-hander posted a 3.16 ERA in 42 2/3 innings last season for Texas before requiring Tommy John reconstructive elbow surgery. He's expected to be recovered by the end of the 2013 regular season.
