Report: Cardinals offer job, Arians to accept
Cardinals Offense - TM - Arizona Cardinals
Jan. 17, 2013 - 8:25 PM ET

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Cardinals have offered their head-coaching job to Colts OC Bruce Arians, and he is expected to accept it.

The final head-coaching vacancy is set to be filled. Arians, 60, met with Arizona brass Wednesday night and into Thursday before leaving with an offer in hand that he is fully expected to take. Arians has spent the last nine years working with Ben Roethlisberger and Andrew Luck, but this time he'll be forced to try and make something out of Kevin Kolb or look for a quarterback outside of the organization. The offensive philosophy in the desert shouldn't change much from Ken Whisenhunt to Arians, as both like a pass-first aerial attack. Arians went 9-3 as interim head coach for the Colts this past season while Chuck Pagano battled cancer.
