Bryan Silas Charlotte Motor Speedway advance
May 14, 2013 - 10:55 AM ET

Full-time NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) driver Bryan Silas erased an item from his "bucket list" this past weekend, as he made his second-career NASCAR Nationwide Series start at Darlington.

He teamed with SR2 Motorsports for the VFW Sport Clips Help a Hero 200, piloting the No. 24 Team BOOM Toyota Camry. Despite being knocked out of the race by another competitor, just 24 laps into the 147-lap event, he was extremely thankful for the opportunity given to him. Silas will quickly refocus and turn his attention back to his T3R2 team as they plan to participate in Friday night's truck event from Charlotte, the fifth race of the season.-Chris Knight PR
