Cardinals Offense - TM - Arizona Cardinals
Jan. 16, 2013 - 7:25 PM ET

NFL.com reports the Cardinals "tentatively plan" to interview Colts OC Bruce Arians for their head-coaching vacancy on Thursday.

Profootballtalk reported earlier in the day there was "increasing chatter" Arians was the favorite to replace Ken Whisenhunt, though he's yet to even interview. Among the game's most respected and experienced passing gurus, Arians would be a strong hire if the Cardinals' primary objective is to fix a passing "attack" that's been an embarrassment since Kurt Warner hung up his cleats.
