Trestman brings in Kromer as his OC
Bears Offense - TM - Chicago Bears
Jan. 16, 2013 - 12:35 PM ET

Bears hired Aaron Kromer as their offensive coordinator.

Kromer, the 2012 interim head coach of the Saints before giving way to Joe Vitt, will also be in charge of the Bears' offensive line. However, he won't be in the spotlight as the play-calling duties will fall into the lap of new coach Marc Trestman. Kromer, the Saints' line coach for the last four seasons, figures help keep Jay Cutler upright. He has a connection to Trestman as they both served on the Raiders' 2001 staff.
