Terrell Thomas expecting to be cut, re-signed
Terrell Thomas - DB - New York Giants
Jan. 15, 2013 - 10:30 AM ET

Giants DB Terrell Thomas suggested that he's expecting to be cut by the Giants.

Thomas is technically under contract through 2015. But he's coming off three ACL tears and only $1 million of the $17.4 million deal he got last March was guaranteed. "I am returning to football in 2013, hopefully with the Giants but my (contract) is up this year," Thomas wrote on his blog. "Most likely and hopefully I will be resigning with the Giants." GM Jerry Reese has already suggested that if Thomas is brought back, he might be moved to safety.
