League to 'look into' latest Britt incident

An NFL spokesman tells the Nashville Tennessean the league will "look into" Kenny Britt's involvement in a weekend shooting and stabbing in New Jersey.

Britt is not a suspect in the incident, but his long and winding legal history should earn him another meeting with commissioner Roger Goodell. Britt was suspended for Week 1 this season for violating the league's substance-abuse policy. At least for now, it appears he'll avoid a similar fate in 2013.
