Spokesman: Britt will cooperate with police
Kenny Britt - WR - Tennessee Titans
Jan. 14, 2013 - 11:45 AM ET

A spokesman for Kenny Britt says the Titans receiver "has made himself available to cooperate" with police in their investigation of a Saturday night stabbing and shooting in New Jersey.

"Kenny was leaving a dinner cooked by his friends" parents when he found his friend, who had left earlier, injured outside," the spokesman's statement said. "Kenny immediately brought his friend to the hospital and was there with the injured friend's family for several hours, but was not otherwise involved in the incident." Police now concede that the man injured was not Britt's brother. Although Britt is not, a suspect in the stabbing, police want to query him about the shooting. As has been the case with most of the incidents involving Britt, it looks like he will escape serious legal trouble.
