Bob Nightengale of USA Today reports that the Nationals are showing heavy interest in Javier Vazquez.
Scouts have been raving about Vazquez, who is throwing 92-95 mph with terrific command in the Puerto Rican Winter League. More than a dozen teams have already expressed interest in signing him, but the veteran righty won't make a decision until after the World Baseball Classic on whether he wants to return to the major leagues.
