Report: Brian Kelly is Eagles' top HC target
Eagles Offense - TM - Philadelphia Eagles
Jan. 12, 2013 - 4:00 PM ET

Citing a source with knowledge of the situation, Profootballtalk.com reports that the Eagles want Notre Dame's Brian Kelly to be their next head coach.

An Adam Schefter report late in the week hinted that Kelly had genuine interest in the Eagles, and PFT's report indicates the feeling is mutual. Although the Eagles have lined up a lengthy list of candidates and interviewees, it now appears as though Kelly is atop the list. Kelly is scheduled to meet with his Notre Dame players on Monday, at which point it'll be interesting to see whether he'll make any promises about his 2013 coaching whereabouts.
