Browns land Chudzinski as next head coach
Browns Offense - TM - Cleveland Browns
Jan. 11, 2013 - 10:35 AM ET

Browns hired Rob Chudzinski as head coach.

The deal is believed to be for five years at over $3 million per. Chudzinski, 44, spent the last two seasons as Carolina's offensive coordinator. He has ties to Cleveland already, as he was the Browns' offensive coordinator from 2007-2008 when he somehow managed to turn Derek Anderson into a Pro Bowl quarterback. Chud runs a vertical, aggressive passing attack that likes to feature the tight end and a power running game. ESPN has reported that Norv Turner, whom Chudzinski worked under as tight ends coach in San Diego, is likely to accompany him as offensive coordinator. Chudzinski had three head coaching interviews last offseason before ultimately returning to the Panthers. He is an Ohio native. We like this hire for the fantasy outlooks of Trent Richardson, Josh Gordon, and Jordan Cameron.
