Akers wins competition, will kick vs. Packers

Coach Jim Harbaugh announced that David Akers will kick for the 49ers in Saturday's Divisional round game versus the Packers.
Although Billy Cundiff lost the kicking competition, he will remain on the roster as insurance. Harbaugh said Akers gives the 49ers the "best chance to win," which doesn't say much for Cundiff. Owners who poached Cundiff off the waiver wire for the fantasy playoffs are out of luck.
