Report: Doug Pederson likely to be Chiefs' OC
Chiefs Offense - TM - Kansas City Chiefs
Jan. 11, 2013 - 1:25 AM ET

The Chiefs are expected to hire Doug Pederson as their offensive coordinator.

Pederson was a backup with the Packers, Eagles and Browns during his playing days, which ended in 2004. He signed on as a quality control coach with Andy Reid and the Eagles in 2009 and served as the quarterbacks coach in each of the last two years. He'll have plenty of support in his first stint as a coordinator -- Brad Childress is expected to sign on as an assistant and Reid himself is a good bet to be calling the plays.
