Report: Brian Kelly just flirting with Eagles

SI's senior college football writer Pete Thamel has been told by a Notre Dame source that the expected result of Brian Kelly's NFL flirtation is a contract extension and raise from the university.
In other words, Kelly is just using the Eagles to load his pockets with more dollars from the university. It's not surprising after Oregon's Chip Kelly and Penn State's Bill O'Brien did the same thing this offseason. As of right now, we'd bet on Kelly staying in South Bend rather than bolting for the NFL. He still has unfinished business at the college ranks.
