Dwayne Bowe more likely to re-sign now?
Dwayne Bowe - WR - Kansas City Chiefs
Jan. 9, 2013 - 9:10 AM ET

ESPN's Bill Williamson believes it's more likely that the Chiefs will re-sign impending free agent Dwayne Bowe now that Andy Reid has been hired.

We still suspect that Bowe will hit the open market as perhaps the best wideout available and land with the highest bidder. The question is if the Chiefs -- who also need to re-sign LT Branden Albert -- will be in the mix. Reid did place an emphasis on receivers during his time in Philadelphia, but outside of Terrell Owens he usually did it through the draft. He used first-round picks on Jeremy Maclin (2009) and Freddie Mitchell (2001), and second-rounders on DeSean Jackson (2008), Reggie Brown (2005) and Todd Pinkston (2000).
