Harvin's ankle headed in right direction
Percy Harvin - WR - Minnesota Vikings
Jan. 8, 2013 - 4:25 PM ET

Coach Leslie Frazier has been told that Percy Harvin's ankle is "headed in the right direction."

Harvin has been away from the team, rehabbing on his own Florida. He will meet with Frazier this month for an exit physical. Although Frazier has said that he expects Harvin to be back with the team next season, Christian Ponder told radio station KFAN Tuesday that he wasn't sure if his best receiver would remain with the Vikings. Ponder even spoke of Harvin in the past tense: "Obviously, everyone saw how tough he was physically and mentally. And he had a lot of leadership qualities. He was a good teammate."
