LaRoche's two-year deal with Nats worth $24M

Amanda Comak of the Washington Times reports that Adam LaRoche's two-year deal with the Nationals is worth $24 million guaranteed.
The deal includes a mutual option for 2015. He'll make $10 million in 2013 and $12 million in 2014 while the buyout includes a $2 million option. Comak hears that this is the same offer the Nationals presented to LaRoche two months ago. They did well to hold firm and wait out the market.
