Steven Jackson could restructure with STL?

Rams reporter Howard Balzer suggests the Rams could try to bring Steven Jackson back in 2013 at a reduced salary and cap charge.

Thanks to a September renegotiation, Jackson holds a $7 million player option for next season. But he's expected to void that, becoming an unrestricted free agent. S-Jax has said all along that he hopes to come to terms and finish his career with the Rams, but it's unclear if the franchise will choose to go younger and cheaper at the running back spot. Daryl Richardson and Isaiah Pead are in-house candidates to replace him.
