Titans taking option routes out of offense
Jake Locker - QB - Tennessee Titans
Jan. 8, 2013 - 11:00 AM ET

The Titans plan to reduce the number of option routes in their passing game for 2013.

Under fired OC Chris Palmer, receivers made route choices at the line of scrimmage based on reads. According to coach Mike Munchak, that made Jake Locker play slower. "You get into some bad habits, and that takes a while to develop," Munchak said. Locker ended up with just 10 touchdowns and 11 interceptions in 11 games. He has nowhere to go but up as the Titans continue their search for a new offensive coordinator.
