Gresham held to 7 yards on 7 targets
Jermaine Gresham - TE - Cincinnati Bengals
Jan. 5, 2013 - 8:05 PM ET

Jermaine Gresham caught two passes for seven yards in the Bengals' Wild Card Round loss to the Texans.

Texans SS Glover Quin deserves credit for sticky coverage on Gresham, but this was a brutally inefficient game for Cincinnati's tight end. Gresham had an ugly drop on Cincinnati's opening drive for what would've been a surefire first-down gain, and another toward the end of the second quarter with Cincinnati down 9-7 and trying to rally before the half. Gresham let yet another ball glance off his hands late in the first half that nearly turned into an interception. Gresham ranked 11th in regular season fantasy points among tight ends. We've been unimpressed with his movement and separation skills and would not anticipate a 2013 leap.
