Jason Cole of Yahoo Sports is "hearing" that Syracuse coach Doug Marrone and Patriots OC Josh McDaniels are the Browns' primary head-coaching fallback options should they fail to lure Oregon's Chip Kelly to Cleveland.
The Browns at this point have to be considered the favorites for Kelly and are believed to be willing to make him an "offer he can't refuse." McDaniels is not entertaining interview opportunities during the playoffs, but that could change after the postseason. Marrone already has a Browns interview lined up. This, of course, all assumes that Nick Saban is staying at Alabama.
