Danny Woodhead became the first Patriots back since Kevin Faulk in 2008 with at least 40 receptions and 40 carries in the same season.
After a disappointing 2011 season, Woodhead bounced back to finish a surprising 25th in fantasy points. While he was never a reliable weekly fantasy asset, Woodhead has appeal as a top-12 back in playoff leagues. Darren Sproles was the only back with more production as a receiver in 2012. Woodhead played 34.1 percent of the offensive snaps this season compared to 44.8 for Stevan Ridley, 12.7 for Shane Vereen, and 7.5 for Brandon Bolden.
