Browns to sit down with Alabama's Saban?
Browns Defense - TM - Cleveland Browns
Jan. 4, 2013 - 8:30 AM ET

ESPN Cleveland's Tony Grossi still expects Browns owner Jimmy Haslam to sit down for a "business meeting" with Alabama coach Nick Saban after interviewing Oregon's Chip Kelly this weekend.

"All along, I've believed the Browns' job was Saban's for the taking," writes Grossi, echoing the December sentiments of several writers covering the team. Although Saban is reportedly dead set on staying at Alabama, Grossi believes "things have fallen perfectly for Saban to surprise everybody (again) by making another career move back to the NFL." Grossi also revealed that the Browns' interest in Penn State's Bill O'Brien and Syracuse's Doug Marrone was driven by Bill Belichick's suggestions through NFL Network's Michael Lombardi.
