Wittman stresses John Wall's conditioning

Randy Wittman emphasized that John Wall (knee) is not in basketball condition and the Wizards will not rush his return.
"We've got to make sure he's in good condition," Wittman said. "He can't go out there and hurt himself from a calf muscle or a hamstring or something. We don't want to set ourselves up for that." The team has waited until January to see Wall on the floor, and with the Wizards going nowhere, there is absolutely zero reason to rush him. With his return to contact practice and his debut slated for some time in January, Wall shouldn't be on waiver wires.
