Swisher, Tribe finalize four-year, $56M deal

Indians signed OF Nick Swisher to a four-year, $56 million contract with a $14 million vesting option for 2017.
The deal was agreed to before the holidays and is now being made official. Swisher also drew interest this offseason from the Rangers, Mariners and Red Sox before settling on a four-year pact with Cleveland. He will start in right field for the Tribe and should remain a solid second or third outfielder in mixed fantasy leagues.
