Kyle Shanahan interested in head coach job
Redskins Offense - TM - Washington Redskins
Jan. 4, 2013 - 1:30 AM ET

Redskins OC Kyle Shanahan is "definitely" interested in interviewing for head coaching jobs, but will not field inquiries until after the playoffs.

Kyle joked about previous reports that his father will not allow him to interview for other jobs during the post season. No teams have contacted his agent because he doesn't have one. "I haven't answered my phone in six months," said the younger Shanahan. The upshot is that Kyle isn't attached to Mike's hip and would embrace the opportunity to run his own team.
