The Cardinals requested permission to interview Steelers OC Todd Haley for their vacant head coaching position.
Haley clashed with Ben Roethlisberger in Pittsburgh as the offense sunk to 21st in the league this season. The Steelers might be just fine with him leaving as they have an in-house candidate to replace him in running backs coach Kirby Wilson. The Cards know the fiery Haley well as he served as their offensive coordinator in 2007 and 2008. He left to coach the Chiefs after the Cards lost Super Bowl XLIII to the Steelers, but still has a home in Phoenix and is reportedly "very interested" in the job.
