It's reportedly "unlikely" that the Steelers use their franchise tag on impending free agent Mike Wallace.
Franchising Wallace would cost the Steelers roughly $10.3 million. It's a number they'll likely balk at after signing Antonio Brown to a six-year, $42.5 million contract last summer. Wallace is fully expected to test the open market and could attract interest from receiver-desperate teams like the Dolphins. "I got big plans, no matter what the situation," he said. "I definitely got big plans for myself and my family. We'll see how it goes."
