Jets talking to Heckert about GM job

Former Eagles and Browns general manager Tom Heckert is scheduled to interview with the Jets for the same position.
There have been whispers that Heckert is a "package deal" with Andy Reid and will therefore be heading to Arizona. That doesn't appear to be entirely true. Heckert will be in the mix to replace Mike Tannenbaum along with Giants director of scouting Marc Ross, Falcons front office man David Caldwell and 49ers director of player personnel Tom Gable.
