In six previous Nationwide Series starts at Texas Motor Speedway, Brian Scott has two top-10 starts and one top-10 finish to his credit, along with two-laps led.
He also has five Camping World Truck Series starts resulting in two top-10 finishes. Heading into this weekend, Scott has the longest top-10 finishing streak (seven) of any driver in NASCAR's top three touring series. He has not finished outside the top-10 since Phoenix last fall. He sits third in the Nationwide Series driver championship point standings. This marks his strongest start of a Nationwide Series season since his debut in 2009.-Richard Childress Racing
