49ers signed K Billy Cundiff.

LB Eric Bakhtiari was waived in a corresponding move. While a struggling David Akers remains on the roster, Cundiff now becomes the favorite to kick for the 49ers in the Divisional Round of the playoffs. Akers has missed 13 field goals while kicking through a pelvis injury. Cundiff was released by the Redskins after missing five of 12 kicks early in the season.
