Doctors to Shanahan: RGIII is 100 percent
Robert Griffin III - QB - Washington Redskins
Jan. 1, 2013 - 4:30 PM ET

Team doctors tell coach Mike Shanahan that Robert Griffin III is "100 percent" and no longer in danger of re-injuring his LCL.

RGIII was slowed down by his bulky brace last week, however. "The brace helps him at least mentally know that he's not putting too much pressure on it," explained Shanahan. "I think sometimes that's why he looks a little bit different when he does cut. I think it bothers him just a hair, but it's something that he has to wear." Griffin will be four weeks removed from the injury by Sunday's game versus the Seahawks.
