Jets, Chargers interested in ATL's Caldwell

The Jets and Chargers have asked for permission to interview Falcons director of player personnel David Caldwell for their GM vacancies.
Caldwell and 49ers director of player personnel Tom Gamble are now competing for jobs in Jacksonville, New York, and San Diego. According to the New York Post, assistant GM Scott Cohen is an in-house candidate for the Jets as well. CBS Sports' Jason LaCanfora reports ex-Browns GM Tom Heckert is in the mix while the Post adds that the Jets have been granted permission to interview Giants director of college scouting Marc Ross.
