ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the Browns and Bills will interview Syracuse head coach Doug Marrone for their head-coaching vacancies.
This one comes as a surprise. Marrone has been at Syracuse for the past four seasons and has put together a career 25-25 record, while going 11-17 in conference play. Before landing the college head-coaching gig, Marrone was the Saints' offensive coordinator under Sean Payton from 2006-08. New Orleans ranked No. 1 in offense in 2008, but that obviously had more to do with Payton. Marrone also coached the Jets' offensive line from 2002-05. Marrone will turn 49 years old in July.
