The NRA 500 at Texas Motor Speedway will mark Danica Patrick's 17th career Sprint Cup Series start and her second at Texas.
She started 32nd and finished 24th last November at Texas in her first race with Tony Gibson as her crew chief. In four Nationwide Series races, Patrick has three top-15 finishes, including an eighth-place result in April 2012. She made eight IZOD IndyCar Series starts at Texas with five top-10 finishes. She finished third in June 2007 and second in June 2010. Of all the tracks where Patrick will compete in 2013, she has the most starts at Texas, having driven in 13 major-league races ' one Sprint Cup, four Nationwide Series, and eight in the IZOD IndyCar Series.-True Speed Communication
