Big Ben doesn't need shoulder surgery

Ben Roethlisberger won't require offseason shoulder surgery.
Roethlisberger was ineffective after returning from his rib and shoulder injuries in Week 14, but didn't appear to be limited physically. Even mild shoulder ailments often require surgery, so this is proof Ben's injury is fully behind him. Ben's relationship with OC Todd Haley and the potential loss of WR Mike Wallace are bigger concerns than his health heading into the offseason.
