Lamar Miller rushed five times for 13 yards and caught two passes for 22 additional yards in the Dolphins' Week 17 loss to New England.
Miller wraps up a flash-filled yet inconsistent rookie year with 250 yards and one score on 51 carries (4.90 YPC). Miller has a long way to go in pass protection and the receiving game, however (only six receptions), and is a work in progress as an NFL running back. What he does bring to the table is explosiveness in a straight line. With Reggie Bush potentially leaving in free agency, look for Miller to have an expanded role in 2013. He is probably the most likely Dolphin to benefit from the upcoming offseason.
