Antonio Gates caught two passes for 15 yards with a touchdown in the Chargers' Week 17 win over the Raiders.
Gates played in 15 games this season, proving the plantar fascia woes of 2011 are behind him. He also ran well for a 32-year-old man that weighs at least 260 pounds. However, Gates ended up with just 49 catches for 538 yards and seven touchdowns. The catches and yards are his lowest totals since his rookie year back in 2003. A lot of that can be attributed to the Chargers' struggles on offense, meaning Gates will be on the TE1 radar under a new regime in 2013.
