Steelers placed Mike Wallace (hip) on season-ending injured reserve.
Wallace had already been ruled out for Sunday's regular season finale against the Browns, and with the Steelers already knocked out of playoff contention, it's just a procedural move to open a roster spot for another player. Wallace may very well have played his final snap in Pittsburgh as a member of the Steelers. He's set to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason and said on Friday that he's got "big plans for myself and my family." Wallace hasn't ruled out re-signing with the Steelers, but it seems unlikely that they will match his contract demands.
