Report: Whisenhunt, Lovie, Schwartz all safe
Cardinals Offense - TM - Arizona Cardinals
Dec. 28, 2012 - 3:35 PM ET

According to Yahoo Sports' Jason Cole, "word around the league" is that Ken Whisenhunt (Cardinals), Lovie Smith (Bears), and Jim Schwartz (Lions) are all expected to be safe entering the offseason.

The Cardinals have at least entertained the thought of replacing Whisenhunt internally with DC Ray Horton, but may instead keep Whiz and change upper-management roles, with VP of Player Personnel Steve Keim replacing GM Rod Graves. It's still not out of the question that Smith could be axed by GM Phil Emery if the Bears miss the playoffs. In Detroit, Schwartz signed a multiyear contract extension last June. He's going to get at least one more season.
