ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the decision on Seahawks LCB Richard Sherman's four-game PEDs suspension appeal is expected to be announced Thursday.
Per Schefter, Sherman is arguing that his urine specimen was contaminated while being collected for drug testing. Sherman claims the cup was "leaking," which led to the collector placing a second cup underneath it to capture the leakage. Sherman's argument hinges on the "chain of custody" being broken due to the fact that the second cup's "seal had already been broken," and the urine was contaminated. "It should go well," Sherman said confidently. "There was a chain of custody mistake. There were mistakes made by the tester." Sherman tested positive for Adderall.
