Hornish has best 10-laps in lone NNS practice

Sam Hornish Jr. had the best 10-lap consecutive average speed in the only practice for the Nationwide Series Royal Purple 300 at Auto Club Speedway.
His average of 172.071 mph in the No. 12 Ford Mustang was best of the five cars that ran 10 consecutive laps on the track for this session. No. 22 Brad Keselowski, No. 20 Brian Vickers, No. 98 Kevin Swindell and No. 92 Dexter Stacey were the rest on this list.
