U.S. Open halted second time; restarted again

The opening round of the U.S. Open was suspended due to weather at 6:11 p.m. ET. UPDATE: Play resumed at 6:55 p.m.
This is the second time that play was halted today. The first spanned 8:36 a.m.-12:07 p.m. Tiger Woods is 1-over-par through four holes with two bogeys and a birdie. His round started at 4:44 p.m. Fifteen golfers have yet to complete one hole. The last threesome was scheduled to go off the 11th tee at 6:27 p.m. Sunset in Ardmore, Pa., is 8:31 p.m., but clouds will darken the area sooner.
