Cardinals placed QB Kevin Kolb (ribs) on injured reserve, ending his season.
Kolb's inability to stay healthy in Arizona has plagued him. He missed seven games last year due to a concussion and turf toe. This season, he'll end up missing 10 games thanks to a unique rib injury. Kolb did go 3-2 as a starter this year while throwing eight touchdowns against three interceptions, but the Cardinals are a lock to bring in a new starting quarterback this offseason. Kolb is owed $11 million in total salary in 2013, meaning he'll almost certainly be cut.
